In 1982, Jose Canseco was drafted in the 15th round of the MLB Draft to the Oakland Athletics. He went on to win Rookie of the Year after connecting on 33 home runs and 117 RBI's.
In 1988 Canseco became the first player in major league history to hit 40 homers and steal at least 40 bases in the same year.
He retired from Major League Baseball in 2002 and went on to become a New York Times Best-Selling Author for his tell-all book, Juiced: Wild Times, Rampant 'Roids, Smash Hits & How Baseball Got Big.
